Skinny chips, fries, skinny fries... whatever you choose to call them - they are a firm favourite amongst everyone!
These are made using just 3 ingredients, floury potatoes (maris piper are our favourites!), Tongmaster American Chip Seasoning & vegetable oil or an alternative (coconut oil, rapeseed oil or a low calorie spray work great!
You can customise these completely, try using sweet potato, or cutting the potatoes into chips or wedges - adjust cooking time accordingly!
** If you don't fancy cutting your own potatoes to make chips, you can use pre-cut potatoes or oven chips, just coat in seasoning before cooking for the same delicious taste!
Ingredients
500g floury potatoes - peeled or skin on, your choice!
20g American Chip Seasoning
20ml vegetable oil spray or alternative
Method
Peel and cut your potatoes into thin batons (fries) - you can do this by hand or use a vegetable chopper or fancy chipping device, if you have one.
Add the potatoes to a bowl and spray with oil, sprinkle over the seasoning and toss to coat the potatoes entirely.
Add to the air-fryer at 200C for 20-25 minutes, shaking a few times throughout and spraying with more oil if necessary.
