Kofta Kebabs

These tasty kofta meatballs are perfect for throwing on the bbq this summer.

Easy to whip up & can be frozen!

Kofta are middle eastern staple, usualy made with minced lamb, beef or turkey and packed with fragrant spices.


We use a mix of lamb & beef mince in this recipe, this brings out the flavours in our kofta mix perfectly.


Serve them with a spoonful of homemade tzatziki, alongside salad and flatbread, pair them with rice, or add them to salads.


Ingredients:

  • 500g minced beef

  • 500g minced lamb

  • 100g kofta mix

  • 80ml cold water


Method:

  1. In a large bowl, add the minced meat, kofta mix, and seaosning, mix till fully combined and the water is absorbed.

  2. Leave to stand for at least 20 minutes, the mixture should be firm & fragrant.

  3. Shape the kofta's into meatballs, patties, or shape on to skewers.

  4. Cook as preffered, we recommend BBQ, air frying, grilling or oven cooking.
