Chicken Shawarma

An authentic tasting dish packed with middle eastern flavours - serve up alongside salad and pitta for a fakeaway treat.




  1. Add your chosen meat to a bag or container, add the spice mix, olive oil and lemon juice and mix until meat is well coated.

  2. Grill the meat until cooked through (12-15 minutes) and thinly slice.

  3. You can also cook the meat on skewers (15-18 minutes), the airfryer (10-12 minutes) or oven roast in the oven (15-18 minutes).

  4. Serve with flatbread, salad and cool yoghurt sauce for an authentic feel.

For best results

  • Try using lamb or beef!

  • Make a cool sauce using yoghurt, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt & pepper.

  • Marinate the meat overnight to allow the flavours to infuse.
