These tasty sausages have all the flavour of a chorizo sausage - but are fully plant based and gluten free!
&& so simple to make.
If you don't fancy making link sausages, why not use the mix to make into sausage patties, or chorizo burgers instead?
Our vegan sausage casings are edible and are made from a natural, renewable, vegan and water-soluble raw material - use these straight from pack as you would collagen casings.
700g meat free mince (omnipork or morrisons plant revolution are great)
100g red bell pepper - finely chopped
1 pack vegan sausage casings
Heat oil in a pan and cook the peppers until soft - set aside to cool.
In a large bowl, combine the mince, seasoning and peppers.
Add 100ml water and knead until the mixture forms a paste like texture.
Leave for at least 30 minutes to allow the mix to firm a little.
Fill the vegan casings using a stuffer (see video below) or alternatively, shape into patties.
Cook as preferred & enjoy!
